0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A sequel that does not disappoint! By 5 for Fun We anxiously awaited book #2 in this Horse Lover's Coloring Book series and were not disappointed! Looking at this coloring book is like taking a peek into another person's art journal. Her original artwork and poetry gives us a glimpse into her obvious love for her subjects and the joy she takes in living her life alongside them. One of my favorite poetry selections, entitled 'Foal at Daybreak', is situated opposite a drawing of an adult and child kneeling in the grass beside a new foal as the sun is rising behind them. Sharing the wonders and joys of this world with our children is one of the great blessings of this life, and this coloring book captures that sentiment beautifully! We're definitely looking forward to the next in the series!

The faces are just as poorly drawn. This might be a book a child would like, but it is not for an adult who owns and loves horses. Look elsewhere for a good adult coloring book.

By Deedra Mosley I bought this originally for myself but ended up giving it as a gift along with the first book to a friend who loves horses. I really liked this book even more than book one. The addition of thoughts and poems really was nice. I can see the author growing as she learns from the experience of creating each book. I do know her personally and bought both book one and book two of this series. I hope to buy them both again for myself. If you love horses this is a wonderful way to pass some time and relax.
