2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. So much so that you would pretty much need to use gel pens or sharpen your ... By lueb I had a hard time deciding how to rate this book. The designs are interesting, but some are really, really intricate. Really. So much so that you would pretty much need to use gel pens or sharpen your pencils after practically every stroke. Some are so intricate that I don't even know if you could color sections without losing a lot of the detail. Also, some of the designs are duplicated in a sort of reverse print fashion. It adds a different element to the book, but I don't recall reading about that in the description when I ordered. The pages are printed on both sides of thin, non-perforated paper. My gel pin didn't quite bleed through, but you could definitely see it from the reverse side of the page. This wouldn't have been a problem if the pages were either thicker or printed on only one side. The book is glued so if you want to remove the pages so that nothing bleeds through, you will need to cut the pages out. Either way, there will probably be some drawings that you won't be able to color without copying onto different paper.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Beautiful book, just not for me By Marci Peterson Again like with his other book, I was just not able to see myself coloring in this book. I would recommend it to someone else, because the pictures are very detailed and very well-crafted.
