By ChronicallyBatgirlColours Publisher - Michael O'Mara BooksPages - 128BookAs with all books in the Creative Colouring For Grown Up series, this one does not fail to impress. At 21cm x 29.7cm it is a great size for home or travel. The cover is a glossy card, off white and embellished with many different typesets in full colour.The spine is glue and string bound - allowing extra reinforcement without also making the spine very tough. The paper is bright white and smooth, although I had no issues with pencils even without texture. Fineliners and waterbased markers do shadow, and I experienced a small amount of bleeding when going over an area more than a few times. This is a shame, as the images are double sided. If you are using markers or fineliners, try to use a lighter touch if you are very attached to the picture on the reverse side! ImagesAs soon as I saw this book, I knew I needed to have it - before colouring engulfed my life, I was a big fan of hand lettering and typography in general.I know that the idea of 128 pages of letters to colour seems a bit odd, but there is a wide variety of images in this book, and I don't think it will become tedious for most people, despite the topic.Images vary from a single letter, full size and embellished, to a page of colourable A-Z, to a page of one letter in 5-10 different fonts to colour. A nice feature is the inclusion of some information pages throughout, a few paragraphs about the history of a particular font along with a single or double page spread of the font in A-Z. This is a nice addition, particularly for those who enjoy hand lettering! Both line thickness and intricacy vary quite a bit throughout the book, dependant on the font. Some images have quite thick lines and large spaces, others thin lines with more detailed areas. Health If you like typography, lettering, history, or even just something a little different, I think this book will suit you! The images are ones that do require a bit more concentration, although if you struggle to concentrate for more than a few minutes at a time, it is good that you can choose a letter or two to colour at a time. The line thickness and intricacy are so varied within this book, that I think that those with vision or fine motor skills impairments will struggle with some of them. As always, please check the images before you decide!

The book has pages of artful lettering, fun facts on popular fonts, and characters from international alphabets. She loved it so much, she pulled out her color pencils before the Secret Santa event had even ended. Would definitely recommend!
