About the Author
Miryam Adatto was born and raised in Colombia, South America. She attended the Art Institute there before marrying and moving to the United States. For the last 30 years, Miryam has been teaching ceramics and art with different media to children in the South Florida area. Her previous coloring books rank among Dover's top-selling titles.

Detailed and Abstract Floral Designs Coloring Fun By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:d14b416e5e7c21f1854aeb25395c1fe1]]“Floral Frenzy” is my second adult coloring book by Miryam Adatoo in the Creative Haven line. As with the other book, “Fanciful Faces”, there are 31 beautiful and wildly abstract designs.Each design is an explosion of flowers in wild abandon along with beautiful and abstract backgrounds. At first glance in some cases, it is a little difficult to pick out the actual flowers. I can tell that when I color them, I can choose to “hide” the flowers or to bring them into the foreground of the design. I really like that I have this type of control over the design that I am coloring. It gives me another element of design thought as I plan what I will do with each page.As with other Creative Haven coloring books, the pages are perforated for easy removal, are printed on bright white paper, and the designs are on only one side of each page (the back of which is left blank.)I find that my gel pens and pencils work fine with these pages but when I use markers, I have to test for ink seeping through. If it does, I use freezer paper or cardstock to keep the page beneath from being marred.These designs are really beautiful and imaginative. I find that the designs I have by Ms. Adatto are very different and allow me stretch a bit more as a colorist. I am looking forward to playing with medium and colors to create “my garden” at the end of each day.

Flowers Gone Wild - 10 and 14 year old girls enjoyed this book - so did I By BellaBella by the sea ~~~ Charming coloring book for colorist of all ages. My 10 year old granddaughter loved this book and went at it with her crayons. My 14 year old granddaughter enjoyed page after page with her colored pencils. Me, I am enjoying working with my alcohol markers and colored pencils by practicing my shading. This was an enjoyable afternoon together.Particulars colorists are looking for:~ 30 unique designs~ good quality paper typical of Creative Haven books~ dedicated pages, blank on back side~ some bleed through to be expected from alcohol markers~ 4 colored images to jump start our creative juices~ lots of medium sized spaces – work that shading!~ bold lines and excellent printing resolution~ designs do not have a border~ perforated pages for removing from the book for coloring or displaying your unique work of artRelax and enjoy this plethora of flowers, flowers and more flowers with any color scheme you can come up with – each will be totally unique to our own creative frenzy.

I really liked it in that the design fills the page and is easy to color. The paper is of a medium thickness with one design on one side of the page only. There are probable over 30 designs that can be colored using any writing instruments you like. I like the fact that all the designs are individualized in that they all seem different from each other. There's no repetition of design and the designs are very attractive. You will have fun with this book Highly recommended.
