43 of 43 people found the following review helpful. This thing is HUGE! By Roseanne M. I was shocked when I first opened the box--this thing is huge and heavy! It is about the size of a phone book. For some reason, I was expecting more of a planner thing that I could put in my purse. NOPE! I don't thing this is for carrying around! (See my photos).I have several of Jenean's coloring books and her quilting fabrics, so I knew I would like this too. Even though there are 300+ pages, the layout and design of each page changes with each one. This will keep you interested! There are mandalas, flowers, and border designs--all in Jenean's wonderful style. I uploaded a few pages for example. There are spaces for notes, and the monthly calendar for the current month and next month on each page.The pages are:-Single sided (no printing on the back)-Bright white paper-Weekends have two days on a page-Markers will bleed through so use a page in between to prevent damage to the next page.What a great collection of designs to color!I probably won't take this to work since I would be so tempted to color!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Excellent coloring calendar By Sandiewho I received this calendar as a Christmas gift and have enjoyed coloring each sheet thus far. The book is very thick. The pictures are on one side of the page. The page seems to me to be adequate in thickness, I always place an old folder or sheet of paper behind the coloring page on which I am working just in case there is bleed through but I haven't had a problem with that so far. I use mainly glitter pens and coloring pencils and the occasional micron marker. There is plenty of room for jotting down information on the lines provided though I really hate to mar the page with my scribble. hehThere is a larger main picture and smaller pictures alongside the day's journal lines. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are on the same page with slightly smaller pictures. I am including some of the pictures I've already colored. (Amazon limits to 20 pictures in a review.) The downside is if you color directly on the pages and make a mistake there's nothing you can do about it but that would be the case in any coloring book. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys coloring and has the time to do a page per day. I sometimes color ahead if I know I won't have time to work in the book for a few days. Of course you can skip pages if you don't like a particular day's drawing but I haven't run into that yet. Jenean Morrison does a wonderful job with the designs.If you can only have one coloring book, this is the one to get. It will provide entertainment for an entire year!
