About the Author
Leah Spina is a former journalist of a national news magazine turned stay-at-home mother of three children, age five and under. She graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a B.S. in Business Administration and World Journalism Institute, and also worked at the Gladney Center for Adoption as a Childbirth Coordinator. Leah resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area with her husband, David, and their three children: Samson, Esther and Hannah.

The captivating stories and profound insights feels like a breath of fresh air! As a mom of three little ones, I love how the author perfectly captured this crazy wonderful season of motherhood This book is a wonderful reminder to slow down and intentionally see the good all around me, while embracing the precious little keepsake moments. I now have a deeper love for my children and a renewed perspective. This fun and captivating book is a must read!

Her writing style is witty and easy to follow, and her stories are always full of those little nuggets of truth that we all need to hear. Her perspective on parenting is such a breath of fresh air! If you want to enjoy every moment, savor every age, and build life-long relationships with your little ones.... buy this book!! You will not regret it.

I spent all of my much coveted nap time freedom reading it and it did not disappoint. The chapters are short enough for a busy mom to read and enjoy in just a few minutes. Each chapter begins with a story from Spina's life as parent of young children (beginning with getting pregnant, and progressing chronologically through the stages) and then offers a quick take away of how to "stop and smell your children" or enjoy your kids at this time, ending with a few questions to think over about your own experience as a parent. It is perfect for my kindle app for a little something to read after the baby has fallen asleep in my arms. I really appreciated her chapter about miscarrying and how that affected her in her following pregnancy and parenting. A great reminder to enjoy the days you are in as a parent! Great read for a mom of young kids.
