For All Quilters By goldendog Strip Your Stash by Gudrun Erla is a book designed to use 2 1/2" pre-cut strips or strips you have cut from your stash, 2 1/2" wide. Erla describes how to store these strips, using a single colorway in your quilt, and making quilts with individual blocks. She gives general quilt-making instructions and then, gives instructions for making 12 quilts using strips. The quilts seem easy enough for a confidant beginner. My facorite is making strips aligned on a foundation, forming diagonal blocks, called Hang Glide. Another favorite of mine is Feathers. I have several favorties in Strip Your Stash, and the quilts come in a variety of sizes. A great book!http://www.ctpub.com/strip-your-stash/

All the quilts in this book are modern so if you prefer more traditional quilts then this book isn't for you. A lot of fun colorful pictures and clear instructions.
