From the Author On February 23, 2008, my life intersected with Abraham George's. That path-crossing has turned out to be one of those rare, once-in-a-lifetime, "Y-in-the-road" acquaintances which has affected every day of my life since. On that day, my rational mind and my belief system were jolted by the most incredible story I had ever heard, told by this Eskimo named Abraham George, from Manokotak, Alaska. He fervently proclaimed his story of having died, being taken on a journey to three celestial destinations, and then being reunited with his body. I had strong reactions to it--amazement, extreme skepticism, and strong curiosity.Due to my life-long interest in the spiritual world, I was enthralled by it and drawn into a quest to determine whether what Abraham was claiming was true. I reasoned that if Abraham's story were to be found false, then he needed to be exposed as a charlatan and fraud.If, on the other hand, his claims turned out to actually be true, I felt that due to the paramount importance of its content, the entire world needed to know about it. Not only to help sell books but to help me personally in my quest to become a true Christian. On recent hunting trips the past couple years I had the benefit of hearing bits and pieces about Abraham and his journey. Hearing these stories as I called them made me very skeptical about Abraham. If I remember correctly the author said the same thing and his skepticism was the catalyst to research Abrahams story. The book is a very easy read and one that hooks you to the point you read it cover to cover without putting it down. Friends ask me what I thought and do I believe what Abraham had to say. Being a struggling Christian my reply is simply this. Abraham has been telling this story for years with consistency and passion. I'm sorry but the man that Abraham was before his accident and his supposed celestial travel he has had way too much time to go back to his old lifestyle of drinking , drugs and womanizing. That would be so easy and I think what a lot of people would fall back on in a few short years. Do not quote me on this but Abraham has been preaching his word for well over 5 years. Because of my belief that if this story has continued on so long Abraham is telling the truth and with Gods help he has the energy and the soberness to continue telling his story throughout Alaska and with Glenn Hermanns investigation into Abrahams testimony and the thorough research he put into writing Celestial Traveler I am a true believer in Abrahams confession and his travels. I am confident when the word gets out and more people read the book Abraham will be doing much more travel! Around The World. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. but story was easy to read while getting me really involved By Jean Schroeder Having lived in Dillingham for five years, I was well aware of the drinking binges that occurred in small towns in Alaska. When I picked up Celestial Traveler by Glenn Hermann, I was somewhat skeptical., but story was easy to read while getting me really involved. I became completely convinced the story was true when I read about the angels speaking to Abraham in his Yup'ik language (a difficult language I had heard many times while living in the Alaska Bush.) I am so happy this man's life was complete changed and God is using him to spread the "Good News!"

It gives first hand testimony about an Alaska Native (Yup'ik) who had a terrible accident and was healed within days and now is a positive spokes person through out Alaska. This book is a must have to read and share with people who are in need of up lifting in their lives. I give it 5 stars for first hand evidence of accounts of the journey of the subjust of the book.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Beautiful Adult Coloring Book By Stacey H. This was my first adult coloring book, which I received as a gift from a family member for Christmas. This book is a little taller than your average coloring book but it is chock full of beautiful designs (well over 100) to color. Most of the designs are floral, but there are also a couple of designs that include birds, feathers, paisley, trees and Christmas ornaments as well. The designs are all attractive and if you like adult coloring books as much as I do, you will be itching to color many of the designs ASAP. Most of the designs are very intricate and will require a fine tip coloring instrument and a good eye.I love the paper these are designs are printed on. It is of a heavier weight and has just a touch of texture. I also like that the designs do not extend to the edge of the page into the binding. If you want to remove the pages, you will not ruin the designs. But the pages are not perforated, so you would need to be really careful about removing the pages.There are two things I don't like about this book. First, the designs are printed on both sides of the page. This makes working with most markers impossible for the designs, as the markers will bleed through. Some pens will bleed through as well. So unless you plan on buying two copies of this book so you can color all of the designs with pens and markers, you will be restricted to using pencils to color these designs. The other thing I don't like is that each design has a small section at the bottom that says "Inked By" where you should write in your name. It ruins the design and cuts into it.This is a great adult coloring book - and older kids will like it too. It is too intricate for younger kids, though. Overall, this is a great quality adult coloring book with some of the most beautiful designs I've seen in adult coloring books over the past year or so.

By Amazon Customer Unfortunately, most of the content in this book can be obtained from Wikipedia and numerous other websites, so why pay for this book? While reading, it became evident that the author had clearly compiled information from other sources and it was poorly written. I could not believe that it had not been edited , numerous grammatical errors, so much so, that it was difficult to get through a page without feeling that a 10 year old had written this. Seems to me that the author wanted to make some quick cash and threw together a poorly researched, unedited pamphlet.

I thought this book would be for amazing tricks and ( a little bit longer) :( but when it starts talking about different species of cats don't get fooled, ( fooled like ugh, cheap junk!) it mostly talks about stupid things and things you don't need to know, and only teaches 3 things litter training, not to scratch up furniture, and not to bite or scratch. and the actual training is only a paragraph. over all ok. anne, you are lucky i didn't rate you two stars, becuase i almost did!

The answer surprisingly is yes and Anne not only has the knowledge and ability to show us how but with her writing style it seems she has a love for cats too. First off, she begins with how we need to understand our snobbish yet loveable little babies such as quirks and other behaviors; the key is to think like a cat. Cats are trainable however, Anne teaches us the best tricks to keep them from getting stressed out during training. Superbly she covers this as well as other training and behavior problems such as tools needed for training, kneading, scratching and biting as well as bathing and so much more. I found this book to be the perfect guide to not only getting to know our feline friends, but how to train them in the most stress-free environment. I have no doubt with Annie’s tips that the thousands of cats and kittens up for adoption will soon have forever homes.

Beautiful designs – over 90 in a variety of styles – printed on both sides of page By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:ce32d01881b3af1a5fe89234500fb9a8]]There are over 90 beautiful designs in this coloring book. They range from a lot of birds, flowers, butterflies, feathers, clouds, and much more. I have picked up all four books in this particular line and they all have a very similar look and feel. I don't quite understand how some are happy or serene or peaceful or calming. In any case, they are all quite pretty and should be fun to color. There are a number of artists involved with this book and it shows in the wide variety of styles.The cover of this book is gorgeous – it is a matte metallic green with feathers, some of which have glossy highlighting. The book is printed on a nice quality heavyweight white paper. The paper is non-perforated and the pages are printed on both sides of the page. The binding is sewn, so removing the pages should be a matter of snipping various threads every few pages to completely remove the pages from the book. The book has rounded edges on the unbound side and is slightly smaller than a regular sheet of paper. The designs stop well before the binding; however, many of them leave elements unfinished without a “frame” of sorts to finish off the design. This makes it more difficult for me to color the design and have a nice finished quality to it.All of my alcohol-based markers bled through immediately. My Stabilo 88's did, too. Only some of my Staedler triplus fineliner markers did (the darker colors.) What worked great were my Tombow dual brush markers. These did not bleed through at all. None of my gel pens had problems and my coloring pencils did well on the surface of this paper.I like the book and the designs but the publishing of the book could have been improved in a number of ways: 1) print one side of the page only; 2) make the pages perforated for easy removal from the book, 3) if you are going to printed on both sides of the page, improve the quality of the paper so that markers can be used, and finally, my own personal nit – put “frames” around the outside of designs that simply stop mid-element.

The only 'but' I have is the fact that the pictures are printed on both sides of the page, so there's a lot of color transferring when you're coloring the opposite page if one of the pictures on the previous or following page is already colored :(
