The author is articulate and makes the powerful message easy to understand and "take in". We're in a confusing time in history, and the lessons in this book clears the fog. I'm not only encouraged but actually feel empowered to do what I'm called to do with more boldness. If we can all read this book, our families, communities, cities - even nation, can be changed. Yes, this is a game-changer!

To me, it's not a Chapter you read once and say "that was good, I should remember that". It's a complete paradigm shift, it's so good that I think it would serve me well to read it over and over and over throughout my life. It's like a rudder that will help my ship stay on course. And then there's Chapter 12, so good.

I found it fascinating, and I was often in agreement with Hovis' observations, particularly on the subjects of offense and forgiveness. His argument is well-thought-out and well-organized.
