11 of 11 people found the following review helpful. This is a beautiful book with beautiful quilts By Chelsea M. This is a beautiful book with beautiful quilts. My favorite parts about this book is how geometric they all are and well balanced. I am very much looking forward to making "Vertebrae!" One of the most unique quilts is "Antlers" where Ms. Purvis uses the wrong side of the fabric to help create a "bend" in the "antlers." It's wonderful! I also love the brief segment on the inspiration for the patterns and the little blurbs before each quilt.The cutting instructions are lengthy so I would place this in a more advanced beginner/intermediate category as organization and precise piecing are important with most, if not all, of the designs.The only negative with this book is that you never see the full quilt. She does provide the block layout in its entirety but for some quilts that is not enough. The medallion quilt is one such quilt that would have been great to see with the C+S fabrics.
