Every woman needs to read this book... and I suspect most men too. It's a book to give a teenager who seems to be losing his or her way. It's a book to give the tired mama down the street. It's a book to give your grandmother. It's a book to read and re-read when you are beginning to cave to... well... all the things we cave to. Heather has captured the struggle, the descent into a particular madness, like the rabbit tumbling down the hole in Alice's Wonderland... and the determined, "put your big girl panties on and deal with it" climb back into the saddle of our own lives where we begin to take control and build something beautiful for ourselves. Her message is one I needed to hear and I think many need to hear. It's easy to lose yourself when comparing what you do to what others are doing or want you to do. BUT once you find who you really are and don't let go of that - well, you'll get your "hat'ness" back too!

As you read the questions and try to come up with answers you will find yourself looking deep into yourself and examining avenues you may have never thought of before. This book would make a great gift and then later when the receiver has finished answering all the questions, both fun and thought provoking, this journal will make a wonderful keepsake. It can be a good hobby and can make your place beautiful,(just like a landscape) and many more.“Backyard Farming” gave helpful ideas on how to plant crops in your backyard, from planning, designing, preserving and producing your own organic herb/vegetable garden. It also gave important pointers on how to keep pests out of your garden, how to grow your crops using natural fertilizers and other important facts about gardening. Aside from backyard farming, this book also discussed how to have an urban livestock. This book is perfect for people who loves gardening but are living in the city or have limited access to larger space for growing crops.

Every man or woman who's on a quest for love should purchase this book. It is so transparent and at times raw in an effort to show us that people can change and REAL LOVE is attainable. It is chock full of his "grown-boy" experiences and how is early life surroundings precipitated his view of women which lead him on a path to toxic love. I own quite a few of his books but this one pierced my soul and sleeping conscience on a more profound level. I'll re-read this book again and encourage friends and family to purchase. I thought it was amazing (read the entire thing in a couple hours) and gave it to my hubby to read. The points Tony makes opened up my hubby's eyes to things that he related to and gave him a better outlook on things and the capability to understand my position and what he needs to do to improve himself for me. It brought so much clarity and wisdom to our relationship. Thank you Tony Gaskins for being raw and transparent because it has helped us tremendously!

If you like your quilt projects to be vibrant these quilt patterns combined with rainbow colors along with the black and white fabrics you will enjoy this book. Just flipping through the book makes you smile with the pretty colors. They say babies only can see black and white early on and I bet they would enjoy these blocks.

Besides lots of advice on color and choosing fabrics, Jackie shares tips and techniques for piecing, appliqué, and paper piecing. The patterns range from beginner to intermediate in difficulty. After reading this, I want to try a couple of the quilts as well as apply her color ideas to some of my own designs.

Jackie gives you some great information on selecting fabrics, piecing hints and tips for success. The quilts may look challenging, but Jackie walks you thru them with ease. Her directions are clear, well written and easy to follow. I love that she included alternate versions of each quilt; it is always fun to see another interpretation of a quilt. A great addition to any quilter's library.

This book is for all those who dream and quite can't reach the brass ring's shadow. You may have lost the motive or you might just be starting. No matter what vehicle your riding, this book is a great pit stop for your journey. Just make sure you do the exercises inside, because the book will become that much more useful for you. I hand wrote my exercises. Just so they sink in and I remember.

By Bill Trav I just finished reading Chris Fox's "Lifelong Writing Habit." This is an excellent book for everyone, not just writers. Fox explains how to make good habits easy to form and bad habits more difficult. The text is straight forward with no fluff or filler. The author does one more thing that I like. I don't like to stop reading to do exercises, so he makes a list of the exercises at the end of the book, so those of us who like to read the whole book first, can still do the exercises without having to go back through the book to find them.

I bought it this morning and literally devoured it in one sitting. I already write every day, so my purpose in reading this wasn't just to establish a writing habit, but to nurture the one I already have. His common sense approach is rooted both in neuroscience (without being the least bit dry or technical) and actionable items that anyone can implement in their own life. As writers, we all have our own challenges to our productivity, but Lifelong Writing Habit will help writers from nearly any background to focus their passion. Highly recommended.

Cynthia Kloeter is a much talented artist who brings you with her in the beautiful landscapes and you will forget all your problems.2) Drawings are printed only on one side so you won't have to fear that while you're coloring one drawing, you're destroying the next one. You have even a blank page provided so that if you use markers, yours next drawings are protected. The paper is of really high quality so you can use a lot of techniques on it (water pencils for example...).So if you want a coloring book with a soul that will help you relax and enable you to do beautiful colorings, please choose this one !!!!!

By Kimberly After a long day of work, there is nothing more relaxing than coloring and diving into a beautiful world of relaxing gardens. All of the hand drawn designs are absolutely stunning, and I love the diversity of the designs. For the days I need more of a challenge, there are designs with more intricate patterns. And when I just want a simple piece to fill in, there are of course simpler designs. Whether you color inside or outside the lines, this is one coloring book that should not be kept a secret. Perfect for any and all ages!

A gifted linguist and early supporter of Esperanto, he traveled widely in Europe and Russia and worked as a journalist for a leading newspaper, visiting the new Soviet Union in 1923. In 1931 he moved to Budapest with his second wife, Nina, where he taught Swedish at the university and became an unpaid cultural attache at the Swedish Legation. After the war, he returned to Sweden. He was awarded the Swedish Red Cross Medal in 1946 and in 1949 was made a Knight of the Swedish North Star.

By mobile women During the whole time, I was reading that book, I felt symphacy to this noble man and his Humitarian cause. To get Jewish people into hiding from the Nazis , was a huge and dangerous mission. To bad, that he didd not het the same Media coverage, as the more flashier and younger Wallenberg had. Both came from the same background and town in Sweden. He was forced to fund it all himself, as he was not able to get the funds from his office. The way, how he wrote about it, is rather dry.But what he and his wife acomplshed, will never be forgotton!

This was a great book By Wendy mostly documenting the heroic work done in Budapest during and after WWII by the Swedish Red Cross and other related organizations. How they bought enough food to feed residents, hospitals, and orphanages was nothing short of miraculous. The end of the war with German occupation of Buda and Russian occupation of Pest with bombings daily and almost total deprivation of the residents was described in enough detail to make it real for me. Some of the most heroic work was the making of almost worthless papers which were somehow respected, allowing thousands of Jews to escape deportation and almost certain death. I witheld one star because at some point, the story got bogged down with names, lots of names, which I couldn,t keep straight. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, especially those who enjoy the WWII time period in Europe.

Always wonder how I would have acted in the same situation. Easy to assume courageous but one never really knows until put to the test. Thankfully there were people who were willing to assist those in desperate need. People such as this gentleman are truly heroes. It enforces the belief that just one person can make a difference.

By Katie I really struggle and have a hard time on how I could clean and organize things in the house as I am always busy and spend a little time on the house. And so a friend told me about this guide on how I could manage and organize my house especially I have a toddler. This guide provides a easy to follow steps on how to un-clutter, organize and clean up each room in the house. This is really a great help for me, now I will also be able to maintain my home. Orr There are many self-help books out there that are geared at the person looking at the inner-self. The goal of these books is for the one who is struggling with pain, depression, or self-image issues to see that deep inside "you are worth it." There are books that even take a godly perspective, but they still fall short because they ultimately elevate self above God. In this book, Myndi's perspective is that God never promised for us to have "our best life now." He never said that if you follow me, life will be easier or more prosperous from a materialistic perspective. Rather, he promised that those who follow Christ will be hated for his names sake (Matt. 10:22; Luke 6:22), and if you intend to live a godly life in Christ Jesus, you will be persecuted (2 Tim.3:12). Those who desire to conform to the will of God will experience suffering and trials, but we are to hold steadfast to his promises and to the hope that we have in Christ.Myndi struggles with chronic pain, and according to the wisdom of the world, she should be able to have the right to raise her fist to the air and cry out to God,"Why me God, why me?" However, she has grown in her devotion and love of Christ and has grown to understand his sovereignty in all things to say, in the wisdom of the Spirit,"Why not me God, why not me."Though her struggles with chronic pain are very tough and overwhelming most of the time, she perseveres and focuses on Christ rather than herself. She understands that she has been, as the Scriptures says, "granted to suffer for the sake of Christ" (Phil. 1:29). Everyone in this world is slowly breaking down and losing all that exists in their earthly life, but Christ will never lose us. Paul says in Romans 8:38-39,"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."The beauty of this book is that God uses all of us strong or weak, in pain or pain-free, to carryout His plan of redemption through the spreading of the gospel to all. Myndi, in a very relatable way, demonstrates that perspective in her book. Her life experiences as a mother and wife can be understood by many; likewise, her experiences in dealing with her pain emotionally, physically, and spiritually can be understood as well. But, the key difference is that at the end, she does not finish up by pointing her finger back to herself for her perseverance; rather, she points her finger to God who has given her the ability to persevere through grace and through the wisdom, guidance, and love of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

This book Helped me By Todd Gonser Don't waste your pain: Keeping Your Faith in the Midst of Chronic Pain,Is a great book I was having headaches everyday all day and my mother got this book for me and after reading it for me it open up my eyes and helped me relize what GOD had planed for me. GOD works in his time not in ours, so with the help of Myndi's book I was able to overcome the pain and work through it and now I have a job and seeking GOD every day, My wife works at a rehab center and a lot of her patients are reading the book and they love it and they tell her that it helps them. Myndi GOD is using you to reach out and help us who have continuing pain and showing us that GOD love us and how we can deal with our pain no matter what the obsitcals are he is always in control. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The gift By Laurie Metzger I am grateful for the opportunity & privilege to get my hands on this book. The message i heard was simple: that pain is a GIFT from God, so don't waste it. I was inspired by Myndi's transparency through out each page. I found it easy to relate to some of her struggles and emotions with pain. While reading her book i realized that the deeper message was about my attitude and my acceptance of pain, it makes all the difference in the world. Since reading this book I have often repeated in my head "Don't waste your pain, there is a purpose in it." and I will never lose that nugget of truth and wisdom that Myndi was able to convey. I highly recommend this book because its an easy read and it will encourage people to trust solely on God in the midst of their pain. I have already suggested this book to one of my friends :)
