15 of 15 people found the following review helpful. 45 Designs depicting scenes and verses from Genesis By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:d67d620189a20afdd53afc69252766e4]]This is a book of 45 lovely hand-drawn illustrations which depict the Creation as told in Genesis. The designs range from intricate and complex to easier to color ones. The artist is Erin Jons, who is an artist I have not known of before this book.The verses are taken from a number of translations of the Bible and each is a lovely interpretation of the verse (which is both written and noted within the design.) I am really impressed by these designs and I think my first one to color will be page 37, “Let there be lights...” Genesis 1:14 which shows a scene half by day and half by night.There are 45 designs and, for fun, there are a number of hidden symbols within the drawings. While there is a listing of the items, to find the answers as to where they are, you will either find them in the drawings or visit the publishers website.The designs are printed on white paper that is a nice quality but thin. The designs are printed on only one side (with back left blank.) The paper is acid-free and is not perforated but the publisher states that the pages are easy tear-outs. I assume that is from the glue binding but have not removed one as yet.All of my markers and some of my gel pens leak through the page. Not a problem, as I can put a heavyweight paper behind the page I am working on to keep the ink from messing up the rest of the book.I am really happy to see inspiration Biblical adult coloring books being made. I plan to spend many hours with this book and hope to see more in the future.

I like the illustrative nature of this book By Lea Queener I like the illustrative nature of this book, and that it could be used by the whole family. The friend I gave it to loved it, especially that her husband would probably do it with her since the pages aren't all overly floral and feminine. This isn't my favorite out of the three I've purchased, but it's a close second runner-up.

This is a cool coloring book- my only complaints are: the pages are not perforated to be easily torn out/shared and the quality of the paper could be better.Other than that- its a decent coloring book for adults or teens/preteens who want to relax and also keep scripture close to their hearts!

People are always in a hurry because things become easier, and patience are shorter. Unnecessary things are becoming such a need to everyone and as a we innovate and develop, what is compromised is the nature, and we can see it through pollution and we can feel it through global warming. Now if you are just fed off and tired of this modern life, you can just live off the grid, and if you are interested, planning too or already there, this book is great help. This book doesn't just help you live sufficiently without those unnecessary things, it also explains what is living off the grid. It is very comprehensive and I believe this will help a lot in our environment if a lot people will do it.

By Susan Keefe Having ditched our television 9 years ago when we moved to France and having never regretted it, this type of book appeals to me.The author has written it in a very practical way, giving an overall view of what living off the grid really means then looking into various ways we could all do so, if we wished.What I really loved about this book is the fact that it does not assume that you are committed [or can, even if you want to] to going the whole hog, instead it gently suggests different levels of commitment to this way of life, appreciating that often there are others involved who might not share your passion.A great book for someone wanting to know where to begin.

Civilization is a very detrimental effect on the environment and on the need to think about the future of our planet. There is a ton of information in here for all !Crocheting and Knitting is a fun and rewarding craft. More people should try it and these books help with that. By Anna Feliz I read this book from my friend and I was really impressed at the many projects that are inside this. I like it very much because the instructions are really well written and the first book was all about educating the beginners on how to read the patterns, how to do different stitches, how to decrease or increase stitch and a bunch of other stuff. I am also happy that this book included a brief explanation of the many types of hooks and yarns used in crochet projects. It actually detailed why the specific yarn and hooks were used in making the project. The second book, I like better than the first because I get to see the pictures of the said pattern. I am not a crochet enthusiast but I love how the patterns and colors of each project played with my eyes.

She’s complaining about getting bored doing her usual routine so I suggested that she tries a new hobby. Good thing I found this book in Amazon because this is definitely new to her. The book offers step-by-step guide in doing Crochets so I know she’ll have be able to “connect” with the book easily. My wife is already talking about making her own design…which only shows she loves it. I am even thinking of trying this hobby so that I could bond with my wife and be productive at the same time. Kudos to the author for such wonderful book.

With twenty six different borders to choose from, you can make matching square insertions for guest towels, lace pillows, purses, garments, and more. Each letter contains written instructions and a chart for the letter and border in the photograph, and 2 separate charts for the letter alone and the border alone for customization. Charts for numbers zero through nine are also included. You can omit the borders and use the letters for monograms, inscriptions or mottos, laces or insertions. Many of the borders can be adapted to longer insertions. Originally designed by Ethel Herrick Stetson in 1916. This is not your usual scanned vintage crochet pattern. To make this pattern great for today’s crocheter I wrote complete instructions, expanded the written instructions so you won't need to skip around, and made an easy to follow chart. I also changed the written instructions to use modern US crochet terms. The only stitches you need to know to complete this lace are: chain stitch and double crochet.
