It's hard to leave the security of a steady paycheck and health benefits, to enter the world of the unknown. In fact, it's downright scary! No risk, then no reward. I love the way this book breaks down the process into 12 months so you can work on different aspects of your life so that you can one day hopefully make the big leap -- quit your job and create something new based on your natural talents and passions.I think what this book is really about, is finding the courage to act on one's convictions and to look inward and ask some very tough questions of ourselves. This book helps to uncover those hidden barriers that we all have about being true to ourselves and acting on our dreams. I agree with the author that we are either building our own dreams or someone elses. I especially like the chapter on test driving your dream job and taking a vocation vacation. This book is educational, inspirational and motivational! Great read!

This story made me laugh, weep and certainly warmed my soul as well as my heart. Each story is about an individual animal that has brightened the lives of someone that they have touched. I felt a true connection to this book unlike any other as I felt the similar bond when I first adopted my dog Max, nearly eleven-years-ago and it was amazing to relate to the author who felt just as I still do whenever I look at Max to this day-joy, happiness and so much love.From the time that I was child to now someone in their twenties I was raised around a large number of animals from horses to cows to dogs to cats. Sweet sweet stories of the love between humans and their animals By Ann Diefenbach I laughed, I cried, I sighed, I awwww-ed (is that even a word!?!) and, most of all, I loved Faithfully Yours! I have always been an animal lover and always felt there was a special bond between me and the different animals that have passed through my life and the author has confirmed this. Her stories make me feel like I'm right there watching the story enfold in front of my eyes. You can truly feel the love in each and every story. To me, her words are magic.
